Doug: Kevin's passing is a truly heartbreaking loss. I feel so sorry for Sandy and their children... and for you, who was his friend and riding buddy.

Doug ' I'm so very sorry to hear the loss of a friend and fellow rider, that is so very sad, Deer have taken 2 of my friends in the past I know how it feels, I'd rather be riding when the Lord takes me it's something I love so very much and could not live witout it.
I just talked to my best friend bacdk in Illinois and he had a crash 2 weeks ago and his passenger just passed away from the crash it's been a very bad week for him also.
I'll pray for you and Kevins family- keep riding no matter what it's what guys like us live for, I just got home from riding with our Pastor this afternoon, it was a cool ride here in TN.

Sandy and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Shea called me yesterday evening to let me know. I will always have fond memories of him, always something nice or funny to say as he was coming through the line. Always smiling. I did not get to go on any rides with the group, but he was always nice and polite and always let us know that we were doing a good job. I hope that you will stay with the group if you can, they are a good group of people and you know if you needed help you would be able to depend on them. I sure did and have since Brian was in the group. They have been very good to me and I have made a lot of life-long friends I hope. If there is anything that I can do, please let me know. Take care and God Bless You and your children,

I was there at Chimney Rock a few weeks ago, and I'm from Spartanburg. I"ve been a fan of the Muse for a few years, been looking forward to eventually experiencing a Floyd Friday night. Why they held the HOG gathering in Spartanburg, I'll never know. I guess we had room. We're one of the few cities in the state that is shrinking in population even as the city limits expand. I really enjoy your photography.

What's with the not bothering to signal an upcoming turn? I've encountered several instances recently and don't see any obvious reason for a hard or panic stop by the vehicle in front but have no way to know until they begin their turn. Then half way into the turn they remember to signal - too late folks. Most annoying to say the least.
